The body of Oxford City's managing director Colin Taylor is found at the club's Marsh Lane home by a member of the public.

The managing director of National League South side Oxford City has been found dead at the team's home ground.

Colin Taylor's body was discovered by a member of the public on Sunday morning at Marsh Lane.

Thames Valley Police are not treating the death as suspicious and are preparing a file for the coroner.

A club statement read: "It is with the deepest sadness that the directors of the club have to announce the sudden passing of managing director, Colin Taylor. Our thoughts and prayers are with Colin's family and friends at this time."

City finished 12th in the National League South last season, 10 points off a playoff spot and seven above the relegation zone.
