Man becomes Blackpool mascot in stag do prank

A man is tricked into mascot duty at Blackpool as part of a stag do prank.

A 34-year-old man was tricked into becoming a mascot for Blackpool as part of a stag do prank.

Kevin Stuart lined up alongside the team's junior mascots and accompanied midfielder Jay Spearing onto the pitch ahead of last weekend's home match against Bradford City after being duped by his friends.

Stuart, who wore a pair of smart shoes with the club's tangerine home strip, towered over the other mascots and most of the Blackpool players at 6ft 2in.

Spearing took to Instagram after the match to share a photo of the prank.

Blackpool won the match 5-0 and climbed to 15th in League One as a result.
