The FIA announces that it will look into the collision between Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel and Mercedes star Lewis Hamilton at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.

The FIA has announced that it will investigate the incident involving Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton from the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.

Vettel has been accused of deliberately swerving into his Mercedes rival while behind the safety car during the race in Baku on Sunday.

The Ferrari driver was issued with a 10-second stop-and-go penalty and three penalty points on his licence, but the FIA has decided to look into the incident to determine whether further action needs to be taken.

After the Grand Prix, Hamilton expressed his anger at Vettel, while the German felt that his opponent was 'brake testing' him.

The collision will be examined on July 3, and the outcome of the investigation will be announced before the Austrian Grand Prix, which gets underway on July 7.
