Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud hints that he will reject the chance to leave the club this summer as he wants to win more silverware in North London.

Olivier Giroud has appeared to rule out leaving Arsenal this summer by insisting that he wants to 'carry on his journey' in North London and win more silverware.

The France international, who started just 11 Premier League games last season, recently admitted that he will not settle for being a back-up player any longer.

Giroud has since been linked with Everton, West Ham United and Marseille, all of whom are reportedly prepared to pay £20m to bring an end to his five-year stay at the Emirates Stadium.

Alexandre Lacazette's imminent arrival from Lyon will only likely push Giroud further down the pecking order next term, but the 30-year-old is seemingly not ready to leave just yet.

"I won a few titles in my career, that is an important thing, but there is another thing which is important for me," he told the club's official website.

"And that's the people [see you as a] loyal warrior on the pitch - that you always give your best for the team. And that's why I want to carry on my good journey at Arsenal and I always want to give my best.

"I would love to win another title, or maybe more until the end of my contract. The motivation is here, always doing your best to make your family proud."

Giroud has scored 98 goals in 226 appearances since joining Arsenal from Montpellier, 19 of which came during the 2016-17 campaign.
