Relive Sports Mole's live coverage of the international friendly between Sweden and Belgium.

Belgium have continued their preparation for the World Cup finals with a 2-0 victory against Sweden.

Marc Wilmots's side are considered dark horses for the tournament in Brazil, but on this evidence, they should be up there with the favourites for the competition.

Romelu Lukaku opened the scoring with a fantastic 25-yard effort before Eden Hazard doubled the advantage 12 minutes from time with a terrific long-range strike after he had ran positively towards the Sweden defence.

Read below to see how the action unfolded in Solna.

7.01pmHello, and welcome to Sports Mole's live coverage of the international friendly between Sweden and Belgium.

7.04pmWith just over 11 days to go until the World Cup finals begin in Brazil, sides involved in the 32-team tournament are making their final preparations for the big kick off in South America, and that includes Belgium, who are considered dark horses for the competition.

7.07pmTheir opponents Sweden haven't qualified for the World Cup after losing in the playoffs to Portugal, but Erik Hamren's team will pose a considerable threat to Belgium this evening, and with plenty of star players on show, it should be a cracking game in Solna.

7.09pmWith just over 20 minutes left until kickoff, let me bring you the team news. First up, Sweden...

7.11pmSWEDEN XI: Isaksson, Granqvist, Bengtsson, Antonsson, Lustig, Kallstrom, Zengin, Larsson, Durmaz, Toivonen, Hysen

7.14pmI'm sure that the first thing you will notice is the absence of Zlatan Ibrahimovic - he is on the bench. Tobias Hysen and Ola Toivonen have been handed the responsibility in attack by their coach, while there are starts for Sebastian Larsson and Kim Kallstrom.

7.16pmBELGIUM XI: Courtois, Kompany, Van Buyten, Vermaelen, Alderweireld, Dembele, Witsel, Hazard, De Bruyne, Mertens, Lukaku

7.18pmRegular Premier League viewers will be familiar with many of the Belgium lineup as Vincent Kompany, Thomas Vermaelen, Moussa Dembele, Eden Hazard and Romelu Lukaku all start this evening, while there are another six representatives on the bench.

7.21pmPREDICTION! Sweden are sure to be a threat playing at home, but many of the Belgium players will be trying to stake their claim for a starting spot against Algeria in a little over two weeks' time, and I expect them to kick on in the second half to secure a 3-1 victory.

7.24pmIf this game doesn't take your fancy, we also have coverage of Germany's friendly with Cameroon, while France's game with Paraguay will be getting underway at 8pm.

7.27pmThe two teams are emerging from the tunnel in Solna. We will be getting underway in just a few minutes!

1 minMark Clattenburg is the official for tonight's game, and he gets us started.

3 minIt was a fast start from Sweden who wasted little time in going on the attack, but Belgium have responded well with Eden Hazard seeing plenty of the ball during the opening minutes.

5 minBelgium are already showing their intent to get Lukaku involved early, but the Sweden backline are doing well to deal with the early pressure.

8 minThis is better from Sweden, who retain possession before working the ball out to the left. However, the cross drifted over everyone in the penalty area and went out for a goal kick.

9 minThe home side are pushing the World Cup finalists back onto the edge of their own 18-yard box, but after Zengin is given room to shoot from 20 yards, he can only direct his effort marginally over the crossbar.

12 minSweden are having plenty of success down the left, and Zengin causes confusion in the Belgium penalty area with a driven cross from the byline, but the ball ricochets between two Belgium defenders and they clear the danger.

13 minCHANCE! Belgium should be ahead. After failing to threaten with a corner, Hazard had another chance to deliver the ball into the box, but this time, he found Kompany six yards out but his header lacked power and was straight at Isaksson.

15 minWOODWORK! Kevin de Bruyne (remember him, Chelsea fans?) shows the quality that he failed to show in England by curling a shot towards the top corner from 18 yards, but the ball hit the underside of the crossbar and bounced clear!

18 minThis is developing in a very good game. Neither defence looks particularly solid, so that always helps!

22 minAfter saying that, we haven't had a chance, but I'm sure that will change imminently! Belgium are currently enjoy a spell of possession in their own half, and Sweden don't seem too keen in being drawn out of defence.

24 minCHANCE! Kompany is proving to be such a threat for Belgium from set pieces. Another cross was sent into the box and this time, he volleyed the ball past Isaksson but over the crossbar.

27 minOUCH! I think Zengin has forgotten that this is a friendly. He has just completely wiped out De Bruyne, who is left in a heap on the deck. The midfielder is fine, but it was a crude challenge from the Swede.

31 minLukaku gets the first chance to stretch his legs and run at the Sweden defence, but after combing with De Bruyne to set up Mertens, the winger loses the ball and Sweden win a free kick.

35 minGOAL! Sweden 0-1 Belgium (Lukaku)

35 minJose Mourinho - did you see that? What a stunning goal from Romelu Lukaku. The ball was drilled into his feet around 35 yards from goal, but after controlling it and advancing forward, he curled an exquisite curling effort from 25 yards into the top corner.

40 minBelgium have really upped the ante over the past 10 minutes and Sweden have made little response. I think that they will be happy to hear the half-time whistle.

44 minSweden put together a really sharp period of play that concludes with Toivonen just failing to put the finishing touches to a Zengin cross from the right. Even the smallest of connections would have helped the ball find the bottom corner.

45 minThere will be one minute of added-on time.

45+1 minHALF TIME: Sweden 0-1 Belgium

8.20pmMark Clattenburg blows the half-time whistle in Solna, and Belgium deservedly lead at the break thanks to that stunning strike from Lukaku. Sweden have had their moments, but it's clear to see why Belgium are tipped to do well in Brazil - the speed of some of their attacks has been incredible.

8.27pmAs with pretty much every international friendly, expect several stoppages for substitutions during the second half. I'm sure that the introduction of Sweden striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic isn't too far away, while Belgium's Adnan Januzaj could be given a chance to further impress his national team coach.

8.30pmIn the other friendlies taking place this evening, it is currently goalless between Germany and Cameroon, and France and Paraguay.

46 minWe are back underway in Solna. Sweden have replaced Kallstrom with Wernbloom.

48 minHow many chances is Kompany going to have from corners tonight? After squandering a couple of opportunities in the first half, he misses another opening to double Belgium's lead when volleying over from six yards.

51 minHazard jinks inside from the left before rolling the ball across the 18-yard line for Dembele, but the Spurs midfielder scuffs his shot and it rolls into the hands of Isaksson.

55 minSweden haven't got going since the restart. Belgium must have had 90% of possession, and this game could, and perhaps should, be done and dusted as a contest.

58 minI'm surprised that we haven't seen Ibrahimovic yet. This might be just a friendly, but I'm sure it's a game that Sweden want to win ahead of the summer break.

61 minBelgium break forward for the umpteenth time through Lukaku, who really looks up for this tonight, but after laying the ball off to Hazard, the Chelsea midfielder can't combine with De Bruyne to create a chance.

62 minSUBSTITUTION! Sweden make their second alteration of the match, but it isn't Ibrahimovic. Bengtsson has come on for Antonsson.

66 minBelgium are having a bit of a breather in their own half at the moment, and after losing the ball to the opposition, Sweden do the same. I'm surprised that Marc Wilmots hasn't made a change yet.

68 minOh, here comes the first alternation...I promise that I didn't know that when I wrote my last post! Chadli is on for Mertens.

69 minWOODWORK! Out of nowhere, Sweden come close to an equaliser! The ball was played to Durmaz on the edge of the box, but he could only drive his shot off the top of the crossbar. That is as close as the hosts have come this evening.

72 minSUBSTITUTIONS! Two more changes for Sweden, with Elmander and Berg being thrown on to try to change the course of this match with 18 minutes to go.

75 minSweden are beginning to build up a head of steam as we enter the final 15 minutes of this encounter, but Belgium are coping well so far and are looking increasingly threatening on the break.

77 minBOOKING! If there was an award for the most cynical challenge of the night, Bengtsson would have just won first prize for barging into De Bruyne after being beaten by De Bruyne.

78 minGOAL! Sweden 0-2 Belgium (Hazard)

78 minLadies and gentleman, please rise in appreciation for the best goal that you will see or read about all weekend. Hazard collected the ball on the left flank before driving towards the Sweden defence and after playing a quick one-two with De Bruyne, the ball was laid perfectly into his path. After taking the ball past the defender on the edge of the area, he manoeuvred himself into a central position before wrong-footing Isaksson with a low effort from 18 yards. Superb.

83 minI really can't do that strike enough justice. This may just be a friendly, but I'm going on record to say that I think that Belgium can win the World Cup.

87 minBoth managers make another couple of changes, but they won't have any effect on the outcome of this match. Apart from that one shot that hit the woodwork, I can't think of Sweden forcing a save out of Courtois in the Belgium goal.

90 minThere will be three minutes of added-on time.

90+1 minCHANCE! That would have capped off the perfect performance from Belgium. De Bruyne was released down the right and after advancing into the penalty area, he bamboozled Bengtsson before striking the ball with the outside of his boot off the post from 12 yards. I think there may come a time where Jose Mourinho regrets selling the playmaker. He has been terrific tonight.

90+3 minFULL TIME: Sweden 0-2 Belgium

9.23pmMark Clattenburg blows his whistle to bring an end to the match and Belgium have deservedly run out 2-0 victors in Solna.

9.26pmAs they prepare for their trip to Brazil, this was quite the performance from Belgium. They ooze quality in all areas of the pitch and if they can cope with the conditions in South America, they have every chance of winning the World Cup. That's a bold statement, but on this evidence, they can trouble any team in international football.

9.27pmThat will be all from Sports Mole for this match. Thank you for joining us this evening, and we hope that you return over the course of the next six weeks to follow all of our comprehensive World Cup coverage. Goodbye for now.
