Sweden announce pre-Euro 2016 Wales friendly

Wales will play Sweden in a friendly six days before their European Championships campaign gets underway in France.

The Swedish Football Association has confirmed that Wales will provide the opposition in a warm-up friendly ahead of this summer's Euro Championships.

Chris Coleman's men will make the trip to the Friends Arena in Stockholm on Sunday, June 5.

Six days later the Dragons will begin their Euro 2016 group campaign against Slovakia in Bordeaux.

As for Sweden, their quest for glory will get underway two days later with a clash against the Republic of Ireland.
