Swansea City reportedly make a late approach for Norwich City forward Nelson Oliveira, who has previously spent a loan spell at the Liberty Stadium.

Norwich City forward Nelson Oliveira is reportedly attracting attention from Swansea City.

With Swansea having given the green light for Fernando Llorente to leave the Liberty Stadium, head coach Paul Clement is looking to sign a replacement before the end of deadline day and Wilfried Bony has been strongly linked with a return to South Wales.

However, according to The Sun, Clement is keen on another former Swans frontman with a £12m being made for Oliveira, who has previously enjoyed a spell on loan at the club.

During the second half of the 2015-16 campaign, the Portuguese netted once in 10 Premier League appearances, but the 26-year-old has spent the next stage of his career in the Championship.

Oliveira has been in and out of the Canaries starting lineup under new head coach Daniel Farke, but the former Benfica youngster has still netted three times in the second tier this season.
