Manchester City striker Wilfried Bony is heading back to former club Swansea City in a £12m deal, according to a report.

Swansea City are expected to complete the signing of Wilfried Bony in the coming hours after reportedly reaching an agreement with Manchester City.

The two clubs have been haggling over a fee for the Ivory Coast international in recent weeks and a £12m compromise is understood to have been agreed.

Bony is now on the verge of rejoining his former side, according to Wales Online, with a medical pencilled in for Thursday afternoon.

It is also suggested that Swansea remain hopeful of getting a deal for Bayern Munich ace Renato Sanches over the line, with the double swoop likely to be confirmed with time to spare.

Former Sparta Prague and Vitesse striker Bony made his name in British football with Swansea, scoring 35 times in 70 appearances before departing for Man City in 2015.
