Norwich City manager Daniel Farke admits that he was "not content" with striker Nelson Oliveira's behaviour in the season-opener at Fulham.

Norwich City's new manager Daniel Farke has said that he was "not content" with Nelson Oliveira's behaviour during the side's 1-1 draw at Fulham on Saturday.

The striker started the game on the bench at Craven Cottage but with the Canaries trailing 1-0, Farke introduced Oliveira to proceedings and he duly responded with a last-minute equaliser.

Having scored the goal, Oliveira removed his shirt and ran quickly towards his manager, then pointing at his name while appearing to shout angrily at Farke.

"I was not content with his reaction," Farke admitted to the Eastern Daily Press today. "I have spoken to him. I can live with it.

"I know passion is normal but it is not good for the group. I shouldn't be speaking now about Nelson's reaction. It should be [about] coming back from 1-0 down.

"It is always about the group, not individuals. It is not about the name on the back but the front of the shirt.

"The team is the most important thing. My job is to remind anyone who thinks different - players, staff. And I will. Don't worry."

Oliveira moved to Carrow Road last summer from Benfica and scored 11 times in 28 appearances during his debut season.
