Swansea City boss Francesco Guidolin says that he "hopes" to be able to keep Ghana forward Andre Ayew at the Liberty Stadium this summer.

Swansea City boss Francesco Guidolin has said that he "hopes" to be able to keep Andre Ayew at the Liberty Stadium this summer, but refused to give any guarantees.

The Ghana international hit 12 Premier League goals for Swansea during the 2015-16 campaign after making the move to Wales on a free transfer last summer.

West Ham United, Sunderland and Chelsea have all been linked with a move for the £15m-rated attacker, but Guidolin wants to keep the 26-year-old in Wales.

"Andre is a good guy and a good player, I hope he stays with us but I don't know. It is important to keep him, but it is not my job, my job is to train and to get the team to play well and to get good results," Guidolin told reporters.

Ayew has scored 11 times in 67 appearances for the Ghanaian national team.
