Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq has described his team as "below average" following their second-Test defeat to England at Old Trafford.
The tourists took the lead in the four-match series by winning the opener at Lord's, but they were roundly beaten by 330 runs in the second Test.
England captain Alastair Cook and batsman Joe Root were the stars of the show as they scored 181 and 325 runs respectively.
The series is evenly poised for the third clash at Edgbaston, but Misbah has urged his team to improve on all fronts.
"Full credit to England - they won a good toss and Cook and Root took the game away from us," Misbah said after the match. "We were below average.
"We have to improve in every department. We could not build pressure and let them score a massive total in the first innings. If we had restricted them to 350, we had a chance, but it was difficult to come back from 600."
The third Test will get underway on August 3.
