Tottenham Hotspur confirm Federico Fazio loan exit

Tottenham Hotspur confirm that centre-back Federico Fazio has returned to former club Sevilla on loan for the rest of the season.

Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that centre-back Federico Fazio has returned to former club Sevilla on a loan deal.

The 28-year-old moved to White Hart Lane from the La Liga side in 2014 but has fallen out of favour under Mauricio Pochettino, featuring just once in all competitions this season.

In a statement on its official website, Sevilla confirmed that the deal does not include an option to buy, meaning that Fazio will return to his parent club at the end of the season.
