Tottenham Hotspur announce that Danny Rose has signed a new five-year deal with the club.

Tottenham Hotspur have announced that Danny Rose has signed a new five-year contract at White Hart Lane.

The 26-year-old has been with the club since 2007, and over the past three seasons he has established himself as the club's first-choice left-back.

That has resulted in the England international penning a deal which will keep him in North London until 2021 and Rose, who can also play further forward, says that he is delighted to commit his future to the club.

He told Spurs TV: "It's been a great couple of weeks for the club with Dele [Alli], Eric [Dier], Christian [Eriksen], Harry Winks all signing contracts.

"Everyone knows that the club is going in the right direction and I'm over the moon that I have earned a contract that will keep me here until I am an old man!"

Rose has scored nine goals in 126 appearances for the club.
