Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford apologises after appearing to like Arsenal celebratory pictures on Instagram.

Young Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford has apologised after liking various pictures on Instagram in the wake of the Blues' 3-0 defeat at bitter rivals Arsenal on Saturday.

Gunners stars Mesut Ozil and Hector Bellerin took to Instagram to post celebratory pictures after the match, with Bamford - currently on loan at Burnley - reportedly 'liking' all of them.

After being accosted by a number of angry Blues fans on social media, Bamford took to Twitter in an attempt to explain the situation.

Bamford moved to Chelsea from Nottingham Forest in January 2012 but has yet to make a senior appearance for Antonio Conte's side.
