Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez says that the team are "really happy" having made it two wins from two Champions League games by beating Porto 1-0.

Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez has said that the team are delighted with their 1-0 victory over Porto in the Champions League this evening.

Mahrez laid on the only goal of the game for compatriot Islam Slimani as the Foxes emerged victorious from their first ever Champions League home match.

Claudio Ranieri's side now top Group G with maximum points from two games, and Mahrez is pleased with the team's start to the campaign.

"We knew it would be tough and we'd have to work hard to get the points. We're really happy with it," he told reporters.

Leicester will now turn their attention back to the Premier League, where they will face Southampton on Sunday.
