Frank Lampard says that Tottenham Hotspur should have no fear when they face Juventus in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.

Frank Lampard has said that Tottenham Hotspur should have no fear when they face Juventus in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.

The former Chelsea midfielder wrote in a column for the Evening Standard that the last-16 tie will be the club's toughest test this season, following victory over Real Madrid in the group stages.

Lampard added, however, that Mauricio Pochettino's "aggressive" style of play will serve Spurs well against a Serie A team that have conceded just one goal in 15 games.

"Tottenham are facing their toughest Champions League test against Juventus in the last 16," the former midfielder wrote. "It was thoroughly deserved but this will be a much harder challenge for many reasons.

"Juventus are very well drilled and they all know each other's roles. They know what it takes to win — they've been Italian champions for the past six years and reached two of the past three Champions League Finals.

"Even though the first game is away from home, I still expect Tottenham coach Mauricio Pochettino to go on the offensive. I don't think they should have any fear. They have put in good performances of late against Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal. Continue to play like that and they have a good chance."

Spurs play Rochdale in the FA Cup on Sunday following their trip to Italy.
