Dallas head into this match in the midst of a seven-game unbeaten run which has seen them climb up to fourth in the Western Conference, just four points off the top.
After winning their third-round U.S. Open Cup fixture against FC Tulsa, they then followed it with a 2-1 victory against Houston Dynamo in the league.
