Roma captain Daniele De Rossi reportedly rejects the chance to join Italian champions Juventus on a two-year contract.

Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi has reportedly rejected the chance to join Italian champions Juventus.

De Rossi, who is a 108-time Italian international, has represented Roma since 2000 - making more than 500 appearances in all competitions for the Serie A giants.

The 33-year-old's Roma contract will come to an end at the end of this season, however, and it is understood that the defensive midfielder is considering the possibility of seeking pastures new.

According to Calcio Mercato, Juventus approached De Rossi's representatives offering a two-year contract, but the Italian dismissed the offer due to his loyalty to Roma.

De Rossi has made 10 appearances for Roma in all competitions this season.
