Denmark's Thorbjorn Olesen opens up a six-shot lead at the halfway stage of the Turkish Airlines Open.

Thorbjorn Olesen has recorded a second-round 62 to move six shots clear of the field at the Turkish Airlines Open.

The world number 92 hit eight birdies and an eagle as he capitalised on first-round leader George Coetzee only shooting a round of 73.

Adrian Otaegui and Thongchai Jaidee share second position while David Horsey and Matteo Manassero are among four players who are in a tie for fourth place.

English trio Robert Rock, James Morrison and Richard Bland all remain in contention but Masters champion Danny Willett is unlikely to threaten over the weekend.

The world number 10 failed to register a single birdie as he slumped to a three-over-par round of 73, which leaves him 16 shots behind Olesen.
