Preview: Nigeria vs. Argentina

Sports Mole looks ahead to Wednesday's World Cup encounter between Nigeria and Argentina in Group F.

Nigeria can reach the second round of the World Cup on Wednesday if they avoid defeat against Group F leaders Argentina in Porto Alegre.

The Africans are currently three points ahead of third-placed Iran, though Stephen Keshi's side could be knocked out of the tournament if they lose and the Iranians beat Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Meanwhile, already-qualified Argentina will be eager to make it three wins out of three as they prepare themselves for the last 16.

The South Americans come into the match on the back of a dramatic 1-0 victory over Iran which saw Lionel Messi score a spectacular injury-time winner for his country.

Victor Moses, Godfrey Oboabona and Reuben Gabriel are all doubtful for Nigeria, while Argentina have no fresh injury concerns.
