England will play Group F runners-up Iceland in the knockout stages of Euro 2016 following the Nordic nation's last-ditch 2-1 win over Austria on Wednesday.

England will play Iceland in Nice on Monday in the last 16 of Euro 2016.

The Nordic nation's 94th-minute winner in a 2-1 win over Austria means that they finished as runners-up in Group F.

Meanwhile, Portugal's 3-3 draw against Hungary sees them through to face Group D winners Croatia.

Many fans and experts expected the Iberian nation to top the group, but Cristiano Ronaldo's team finished third and without a win in three games.

The last time that the Three Lions played Iceland was in 2004, Wayne Rooney scoring twice in a 6-1 England win.
