Middlesbrough boss Tony Mowbray has revealed that he is looking forward to opening their Championship campaign against Leicester City.
Both sides missed out on promotion last season despite positive starts, but Mowbray believes the Foxes will once more be at the top end of the table.
"Starting the season against Leicester will be a good test for us. They are an ambitious club who reached the playoffs last season and I'd expect them to be competing at the top end of the table this year," Mowbray told the club's official website. "It's an interesting fixture because that's where we want to be."
The opening fixtures of the Championship season will take place on August 3.
