Paul Pogba will miss Manchester United's Premier League clash with Crystal Palace, so the Frenchman has almost certainly played his final game for the club.

Paul Pogba's final Manchester United appearance will reportedly be the first 10 minutes that he played of the Premier League clash with Liverpool on April 19.

The France international has not been seen in a Red Devils strip since limping out of his side's 4-0 loss to Jurgen Klopp's side at Anfield in the middle of last month.

There had been suggestions that the midfielder could be available against Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon, as he has stepped up his recovery from a calf injury over the last couple of weeks.

However, a recent report claimed that the World Cup winner had reservations over taking to the field at Selhurst Park, as he feared the reaction from the Man United supporters.

According to The Athletic, despite claims that he could be available against Palace, Pogba will sit out his side's final match of the 2021-22 Premier League campaign.

As a result, the midfielder has almost certainly played his final game for the Red Devils, as his contract is due to expire at the end of June, and there is no fresh offer on the table from the club.

Pogba's representatives have allegedly held positive talks with Juventus over the last week to discuss the possibility of returning to the Italian giants on a free transfer.

The Frenchman initially left Man United to join the Old Lady in 2012, and he spent four successful years in Turin, winning four Serie A titles and two Coppa Italia crowns, before securing a big-money return to Old Trafford.

Pogba has largely struggled to show his best form over the last six years, though, and he has been consistently linked with a move away from the club since his return.

Juventus are viewed as the heavy favourites to re-sign the former Le Havre youngster, but Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are also believed to be firmly in the hunt for his signature.

The 29-year-old has missed Man United's last four Premier League matches against Arsenal, Chelsea, Brentford and Brighton & Hove Albion with the calf issue that he suffered at Anfield.

Meanwhile, he spent a period on the sidelines earlier this season with the hamstring problem that he suffered while representing France over the international break.

Pogba has still made 27 appearances at club level during the 2021-22 campaign, though, contributing one goal and nine assists, with his only goal coming at Burnley in the Premier League in February.

Man United are also set to be without Cristiano Ronaldo for their final game of the season, with the Portugal international allegedly struggling with a hip flexor issue.

Speaking during his pre-match press conference on Friday, interim head coach Ralf Rangnick admitted that the team had a number of injury concerns ahead of the clash with Palace, where the Red Devils will be attempting to secure sixth spot in the Premier League table at the expense of West Ham United.
