Luke Shaw delighted with Manchester United return

Manchester United defender Luke Shaw tweets that he 'cannot describe' the feeling of returning to the field on Saturday afternoon.

Manchester United defender Luke Shaw has said that he 'cannot describe' the feeling of returning to the field on Saturday afternoon.

The England international missed the majority of last season with a broken leg, but returned to light training with the Red Devils towards the end of the 2015-16 campaign.

Man United boss Jose Mourinho has revealed that Shaw worked throughout the summer to be ready for the new season, and the 21-year-old played the first period of his team's 2-0 win over Wigan Athletic in a pre-season clash on Saturday afternoon.

Shaw is expected to be part of the Man United squad that flies to China next week to take on Borussia Dortmund and Manchester City.
