West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic describes Manchester United as a "wounded animal" in Sunday's FA Cup quarter-final following their defeat to Liverpool.

West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic is expecting to face a "wounded animal" when his team play Manchester United in the FA Cup quarter-finals on Sunday.

United will be looking to bounce back this weekend after losing 2-0 to Liverpool in the first leg of their Europa League last-16 tie at Anfield on Thursday.

Louis van Gaal's side were heavily criticised for their performance, but Bilic expects the team to be a big threat at Old Trafford when the clubs meet.

"We are confident of getting a result on Sunday as we are playing well and have more options now as players are back from injury," Bilic told reporters.

"We are going to one of the biggest stadiums and it will be very difficult. But we are very confident going into the game. We are not thinking about Wembley. We are focused on the game this weekend and it is a massive game for us.

"Manchester United are a wounded animal and we know what to expect on Sunday. They still had good spells against Liverpool and at home they will better."

The Hammers are unbeaten in their last six games in all competitions.
