Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Manchester City could line up for Tuesday's Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has a couple of injury concerns to work around for his side's trip to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Benjamin Mendy is suspended by the club as he awaits his trial in January following a police charge, while Oleksandr Zinchenko and Ilkay Gundogan are both carrying knocks, with the latter now ruled out until after the international break.

Guardiola may already have one eye on the impending Premier League showdown with Liverpool, but Kyle Walker, Joao Cancelo and Ruben Dias should all keep their spots in defence, which would see Nathan Ake drop out from the opening-day win over RB Leipzig.

Aymeric Laporte and John Stones were both passed fit for the recent win over Chelsea, and after the former played the full 90 minutes at Stamford Bridge, Stones could be given the nod this time around.

Rodri was also given the green light to line up at the weekend but may not be risked twice in quick succession, so Fernandinho could come into the engine room after his exemplary performances against PSG in last year's semi-finals.

Kevin De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva are both set to reprise their midfield roles if Gundogan does not recover in time, while Jack Grealish has already established himself as a key man for Guardiola and could keep Raheem Sterling out of the side once more.

Ferran Torres may benefit from some Pep rotation despite Gabriel Jesus's winner at Stamford Bridge, while Riyad Mahrez could earn a start on the right after scoring three of his side's four goals against PSG in last year's semi-finals.

Man City possible starting lineup: Ederson; Walker, Dias, Stones, Cancelo; B. Silva, Fernandinho, De Bruyne; Mahrez, Torres, Grealish
