Japan name an unchanged starting XI for their World Cup Group H encounter with Senegal - who have made one change - in Yekaterinburg.

Japan have named an unchanged starting XI for their World Cup Group H encounter with Senegal in Yekaterinburg.

Midfielder Keisuke Honda suffered a bruised thigh after coming on as a substitute in the 2-1 win against Colombia but is on the bench for Akira Nishino's side.

Forward Shinji Okazaki was a doubt prior to the opening match because of a calf problem but played the final five minutes and is also among the substitutes here.

Senegal, meanwhile, have made one change from the side that ran out 2-1 winners over Poland at Moscow's Otkrytiye Arena.

Mame Biram Diouf, who did not register a single shot against the Poles and was withdrawn after an hour, drops out in place of Stoke City teammate Badou Ndiaye.

Japan: Kawashima; H. Sakai, Yoshida, Shoji, Nagatomo; Shibasaki, Hasebe, Haraguchi, Kagawa, Inui; Osako

Senegal: K. N.Diaye; Sabaly, Sane, Koulibaly, Wague; Gueye, A. N'Diaye, B. Ndiaye; Sarr, Mane, Niang
