Sports Mole looks at how Germany could line up against Israel in Saturday's international friendly.

Germany will be missing Serge Gnabry for Saturday's international friendly with Israel, as the attacker has been forced to withdraw from the squad due to illness.

Julian Brandt has been named as Gnabry's replacement, but the national team have no other fresh concerns head into their contest with Israel, which comes three days before another friendly with the Netherlands.

Freiburg's Nico Schlotterbeck and Mainz 05's Anton Stach will be hoping to earn their first international caps over the next two matches, while David Raum might earn just his fourth cap from left-back.

Manuel Neuer is set to make his 109th appearance for Germany between the sticks, while Chelsea's Antonio Rudiger should start at centre-back amid the uncertainty surrounding his future.

Ilkay Gundogan could be joined by Florian Neuhaus in the middle of the park, while Julian Draxler, Leroy Sane and Jamal Musiala might feature in the final third of the field.

Thomas Muller is the leading goalscorer in the squad with 42, but Chelsea's Timo Werner is expected to be given the nod in the final third, with Wolfsburg's Lukas Nmecha in reserve.

Kai Havertz is also an option to start at centre-forward for Germany, while Benjamin Henrichs is likely to be handed the right-back spot on Saturday evening.

Germany possible starting lineup: Neuer; Henrichs, Rudiger, Ginter, Raum; Neuhaus, Gundogan; Draxler, Musiala, Sane; Werner
