Aussie broadcaster Nine gives the go-ahead to a fourth season of Love Island Australia.

Aussie broadcaster Nine has confirmed that Love Island will return for a fourth season later this year.

The dating show took a break in 2020 due to coronavirus and when it returned last year, it was set domestically in Byron Bay amid the ongoing travel restrictions.

Once again Sophie Monk will return to host season four, which will be set in Mallorca, Spain - potentially in the same location as the next UK edition, which will take place on the island between June and August.

Monk, who has hosted every edition to date, said: "I'm so excited to be back as host of Love Island Australia, and with overseas holidays finally coming into view I can't wait to return to beautiful Mallorca to see what's in store for our brand-new Islanders."

Casting for the new season is open now ahead of filming beginning in August.
