Gylfi Sigurdsson is free to discuss personal terms with Everton after an agreement was reached with Swansea City over a deal worth up to £45m, a report claims.

Everton have reportedly agreed to meet Swansea City's valuation of Gylfi Sigurdsson, offering the Welsh club up to £45m for the playmaker.

The Iceland international was recently left out of the Swans' squad for their tour of the United States due to the ongoing speculation over his future.

Swansea are 'refusing to be bullied' when it comes to selling their star man, though, supposedly holding out for a fee of £45m and nothing less.

Everton have finally agreed to hand over that sum of money, according to The Express, with £40m up front and the rest in add-ons.

Sigurdsson, also previously on the radar of Leicester City, is now said to be free to finalise personal terms with the Toffees over a £90,000-a-week deal.

Boss Ronald Koeman has already spent close to to nine figures on new recruits this summer, but the Dutchman admits that he is still after "one or two quality players" before the window shuts.
