Swansea City could reportedly return to Las Palmas this summer as they target a move for Spanish attacker Jonathan Viera.

Swansea City are reportedly interested in signing Las Palmas attacker Jonathan Viera.

Swansea have already poached Roque Mesa from Las Palmas in this summer's transfer window, with the experienced midfielder joining the Welsh outfit in an £11m deal.

However, according to Canarias7, Swansea are also in the running for Spain attacker Viera, and the Premier League club have already seen a £21.9m bid rejected for the 27-year-old.

The same report claims that Swansea view Viera as the perfect replacement for Gylfi Sigurdsson, who has been strongly linked with a move to Everton since the transfer window opened towards the start of the month.

Viera, who has previously represented Valencia, scored seven goals and provided seven assists in 31 La Liga appearances for the Yellows during the 2016-17 campaign.
