Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how England could line up for Saturday's international friendly with Switzerland.

England manager Gareth Southgate could hand Kyle Walker-Peters his debut for the Three Lions in Saturday's friendly with Switzerland at Wembley.

Trent Alexander-Arnold and Reece James are both unavailable to England this month due to injury, while Kyle Walker has not been called up for this round of fixtures.

As a result, Southampton's Walker-Peters represents the only real right-back option in Southgate's ranks, as Jordan Pickford holds his spot as number one with Aaron Ramsdale and Sam Johnstone also absent.

Harry Maguire has not enjoyed his finest season in Manchester United colours but is seemingly in no danger of losing his spot alongside John Stones, with Luke Shaw holding the fort at left-back.

Either Jude Bellingham or Jordan Henderson should partner the indispensable Declan Rice in midfield, with Euro 2020 regular Kalvin Phillips missing out amid his injury-plagued season.

Bukayo Saka was in the wars against Aston Villa last weekend but has pulled out due to COVID-19, so Phil Foden, Raheem Sterling and Mason Mount could make up a formidable England attack with Emile Smith Rowe also a doubt.

Skipper Harry Kane needs just one more goal to move level with Bobby Charlton's 49 for England, and the Tottenham Hotspur man has top scorer Wayne Rooney's 53 strikes well within his reach.

England possible starting lineup: Pickford; Walker-Peters, Stones, Maguire, Shaw; Rice, Bellingham; Sterling, Mount, Foden; Kane
