USA national team manager Jurgen Klinsmann rules himself out of the running to take over from Sam Allardyce as England boss.

USA manager Jurgen Klinsmann has ruled himself out of the running for the vacant England manager's post.

The Football Association is searching for a new national team boss for the second time in as many months after parting company with Sam Allardyce just 67 days into his reign following a media sting on the former Sunderland manager.

Klinsmann was linked with the role before it was given to Allardyce and has seen his name crop up once again following his departure, but the former Germany international insists that he is fully focused on USA's November 11 clash with Mexico in Columbus.

"No truth to the rumors regarding England. Our entire focus is on November 11 when Columbus will rock," he wrote on Twitter.

Gareth Southgate has been appointed England's interim manager for the next four games.
