Liverpool are reportedly not planning to make a move for Federico Chiesa due to Juventus' £86m valuation of the attacker.

Liverpool are reportedly unlikely to make an approach for Juventus attacker Federico Chiesa this summer.

The Italy international enters the 2021-22 season off the back of a stellar Euro 2020 campaign with the Azzurri, during which he netted two goals and impressed in the final against England.

Liverpool have been tipped to move for Chiesa amid doubts over Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane's futures, but Juve are thought to value the 23-year-old at a staggering £86m.

As a result, Sky Sports News claims that the Reds are not preparing to make a move for Chiesa given his price tag, although he has caught the eye of Anfield chiefs.

Furthermore, Chiesa is technically still a Fiorentina player as he prepares for a second loan spell with Juventus, who are obliged to make the deal permanent in the summer of 2022.

The attacker's first season at Juve saw him register 14 goals and 10 assists from 43 appearances in all competitions, and he is also believed to be on the radar of both Chelsea and Manchester City.
