Jose Mourinho insists that both Diego Costa and Eden Hazard will begin to score goals for Chelsea, having managed four strikes between them so far this campaign.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has backed both Diego Costa and Eden Hazard to find goalscoring form sooner rather than later.

Costa has just four strikes to his name this season, three of which have come in the Premier League, while Hazard has yet to register in any competition.

The Portuguese insists that the duo, who impressed their manager in Chelsea's Champions League fixture against Porto, will begin to find the net with regularity in the coming months.

"We need results. We need to score more goals," Mourinho told reporters at his press conference ahead of Monday's clash against league leaders Leicester City.

"I know maybe you come back immediately with Diego and Hazard, they are not scoring goals, but the way they played against Porto they have to score goals.

"Sooner or later goals are coming. Their performance against Porto was very good. So in this moment I am less worried than I was."

Last season's champions currently lie in 14th position in the league table.

The injured Diego Costa of Chelsea looks on prior to leaving the pitch due to injury during the Capital One Cup fourth round match between Stoke City and Chelsea at the Britannia Stadium on October 27, 2015 in Stoke on Trent, England.
