Mauricio Pochettino insists that "it is impossible" for Arsenal supporters to say thank you to Arsene Wenger for all that he has achieved at the club.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has described Arsene Wenger as "one of the best managers in football history" as the Frenchman prepares for his final game in charge of Arsenal.

Sunday's meeting with Burnley offers many of the Gunners' supporters a final chance to say farewell to Wenger, before trips to Leicester City and Huddersfield Town in the final week of the season.

Pochettino insists that it is not possible for fans to thank the 68-year-old enough for his achievements at the club, having won three Premier League titles and seven FA Cups during his two decades at the helm.

"It will be difficult to say thank you enough. For the fans, for everyone that loves Arsenal, in the same way they love Wenger, I think it's impossible to say thank you enough," he told reporters at Friday's press conference.

"A person that managed for nearly 22 years, for me it was a very successful 22 years. All that happened at Arsenal under Wenger, he deserves everything. For me, he is one of the best managers in football history."

A guard of honour is expected for Wenger by Arsenal and Burnley players prior to this weekend's clash at the Emirates Stadium.
