Eden Taylor-Draper reveals details about a new storyline on Emmerdale that will see Ellis leave Belle and Kyle in serious trouble.

Eden Taylor-Draper has discussed an upcoming Emmerdale storyline that will see Belle and her nephew Kyle stranded in the freezing cold in the forest.

In the plot, which will play out in the week after Christmas, Ellis (Aaron Anthony) invites Belle and Kyle out on an excursion - but when he gets a call from a struggling Priya (Fiona Wade), he rushes off to her aid, unaware that he's got Belle's car keys with him.

To make matters worse, 10-year-old Kyle twists his ankle while off trying to collect some firewood, making walking back to the village almost impossible.

"She tries to call Ellis and Cain but as she's calling Cain her phone dies," Taylor-Draper revealed. "She realises the temperature is freezing at this point and Kyle can't walk, they're about an hour away from the village so have no way to get back and she's really panicking now.

"She smashes the car window in an attempt to get Kyle warm but she is losing all hope at this point. She's trying to keep a brave face for Kyle but she knows if they're left out here all night they're in big trouble."

She continued: "They're in minus temperatures with no keys, phone or warmth. No one is coming to help them. Belle is very worried."

Emmerdale continues weeknights on ITV.
