Wales full-back Liam Williams is looking forward to coming up against "spiky character" Mike Brown when his side take on England at Twickenham.

Wales full-back Liam Williams has said that he is relishing the chance to test himself against Mike Brown when his side face England next weekend.

Warren Gatland's side travel to Twickenham less than six months after beating England there in the World Cup, and this time they are trying to halt the hosts' charge towards the Six Nations title.

Williams and Brown have been among the most consistent performers for their respective sides in this year's tournament so far, and the 24-year-old Welshman is eagerly anticipating the battle.

"[Brown] is quite a spiky character, but if I am selected I will look forward to the battle," Williams told reporters.

"I don't see why I would take a backward step. It's 15 against 15, and I always feel ready to challenge myself against the best.

"I don't really know the guy. I'm not sure he's one to have a chat with, really. He was angry about what happened to England in the World Cup, but that's sport."

England would win the Six Nations title next weekend if they beat Wales and Scotland overcome France.
