Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford has been sent a signed shirt by David Beckham ahead of the new season.

Rashford burst onto the scene in the closing months of the 2015-16 campaign, scoring eight goals between his debut in February and the end of the season to earn a place in England's Euro 2016 squad.

The 18-year-old is currently preparing for his first full season as part of the senior squad, and former United midfielder Beckham sent the youngster a gift wishing him luck for the year ahead.

Beckham's message on the shirt reads: "To Marcus, Good luck and continue working hard and playing with joy & passion. Love David Beckham 7."

Nice to be appreciated by one of the best 🙌🏾
