Marcus Rashford has reportedly been rewarded for his stellar breakthrough campaign with Manchester United and England by being handed a new deal with sportswear giant Nike worth £2m.
The 18-year-old burst onto the scene in February when scoring twice on his senior debut against FC Midtjylland in the Europa League, while adding two more in his next outing just days later when facing Arsenal.
Rashford went on to score eight goals for the Red Devils in total before the end of the season, earning a call-up to the England squad where he would match his achievement at club level by getting off the mark on his first appearance for the national side.
Now, according to The Sun, the Three Lions starlet is to sign a five-year contract worth £400,000 a year to keep him away from rivals offering similar clothing deals.
It is also claimed in the same report that Rashford will become "one of the faces of Nike" due to his massive marketing potential.
Man United play their first pre-season fixture next Saturday when taking on Wigan Athletic at the DW Stadium.
