The League Two strugglers have settled some outstanding debts.

Macclesfield have avoided a winding-up order at the High Court in London.

The League Two strugglers have settled some outstanding debts and agreed terms with another creditor. They have been given more time to settle their remaining bills.

The club have experienced issues regarding the late payment of wages to some players in recent months.

Despite their financial crisis, Sol Campbell's side have continued to give themselves hope of avoiding relegation back to the National League.

Saturday's 2-0 win at fellow strugglers Yeovil saw them move off the bottom of the table and to within three points of safety.
