Result: Golden State Warriors win fifth straight Pacific Division title

The Golden State Warriors earned their fifth Pacific Division title in a row with a 137-90 win over the Charlotte Hornets.

Stephen Curry scored 25 points – including five three-pointers – to power his side to victory and condemn the Hornets to their worst defeat of the season.

Klay Thompson amassed 24 points with six three-pointers as the Warriors remained on track for a seventh consecutive play-off spot with six games to go.

The Warriors lead the Western Conference by one game, while the Hornets dropped three games behind the Miami Heat into 10th place in the East.

The Dallas Mavericks – already out of play-off contention – left it late before overcoming the Oklahoma City Thunder 106-103.

Trey Burke finished with 25 points and eight assists, but it was down to Dwight Powell to clinch the winner on a dunk with 21 seconds left.

The Thunder could rest easy knowing they already have a play-off berth, but Russell Westbrook continued to excel, recording his 30th triple-double of the season with 25 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists.

Alex Caruso stole the show for the Los Angeles Lakers as his side downed the New Orleans Pelicans 130-102.

The 25-year-old reached a career-high 23 points and also grabbed six assists as well as four steals.

Buddy Hield top-scored with 26 points for the Sacramento Kings as they beat the San Antonio Spurs 113-106, while Danilo Gallinari led the Los Angeles Clippers with 27 points in their 113-96 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies.

In the night's other games, the Atlanta Hawks edged the Milwaukee Bucks 136-135 in overtime and the Denver Nuggets fell to their third loss in five games as the Washington Wizards triumphed 95-90.
