Manchester United full-back Antonio Valencia has the chance to join a Major League Soccer club at the end of the season, according to his father.

Antonio Valencia's father has revealed that an unnamed Major League Soccer side have made an approach to sign the defender once his Manchester United contract expires.

The Ecuador international's decade-long stay at Old Trafford is due to come to an end in the summer as the Red Devils have decided against triggering a 12-month extension in his existing deal.

Valencia has been used just eight times by United in all competitions this season because of a loss of form and a mix of injuries, but that has not stopped a number of teams from showing an interest in the versatile wideman.

Arsenal, West Ham United, Inter Milan and a side from China are all options for the 33-year-old, and the player's father Luis Valencia has added that a move Stateside is also a possibility.

"Antonio has an offer from an MLS team to sign for two seasons," he told radio station Area Deportiva.

Valencia has made close to 350 appearances for United during his 10 seasons at the club.
