Great Britain's Jessica Gadirova has been crowned the all-around women's champion at the European Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Turkey.

The 18-year-old wowed the crowd with four spectacular routines to top the rankings with 55.032, adding to the team gold medal that she won earlier in the week.

Gadirova pipped Zsofia Kovacs to the crown, as the Hungarian settled for silver with a total of 54.899, while Alice D'Amato of Italy finished third with 54.500 on the board.

Posting the highest score of the day on floor and the joint-second best on vault, Gadirova's power and acrobatic prowess shone through in Antalya, starting with a well-executed double-twisting vault for 14.100.

Following scores in the mid-13s on the uneven bars and beam, Gadirova would finish her competition on her favoured floor exercise, where she is the reigning world and European champion.

The teenager completed her complex tumbles with aplomb - including a full-twisting double-straight back somersault - to score 13.933, pushing an emotional Kovacs off top spot and clinching her fourth European gold medal.

Gadirova's compatriot Georgia-Mae Fenton was left to rue a poor vault routine as she finished in eighth place with a total of 51.599, but her bars score of 13.800 was the third-highest of the final.
