Tuesday's FA Cup predictions including Bristol City vs. West Ham United

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's FA Cup fixtures, including Bristol City vs. West Ham United.

Wolves vs. Brentford (Tuesday, 7.30pm)

One of only two all-Premier League FA Cup third-round replays takes place at Molineux on Tuesday evening, as Wolverhampton Wanderers renew hostilities with Brentford.

Gary O'Neil's side held out for a 1-1 draw at the Gtech Community Stadium on January 5, despite playing over 80 minutes of the contest with a numerical disadvantage.

We say: Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-0 Brentford

Injuries, suspensions and international absentees will hit both sides hard ahead of Tuesday's replay, and despite Frank's rallying call for a greater cutting edge in attack, his pleas may fall on deaf ears.

A penny for Toney's thoughts as he helplessly watches on one day before his eight-month suspension comes to an end, but with Wolves often proving too tough to break down at Molineux, O'Neil's side are our favourites to advance to round four.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Eastleigh vs. Newport (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Two of the lowest-ranked teams left in the 2023-24 FA Cup will fight for the right to host one of English football's titans later this month, as National League side Eastleigh host League Two Newport County in Tuesday's third-round replay.

The teams reconvene at the Silverlake Stadium following a 1-1 draw in their opening encounter, and for the winner, a glamour fourth-round showdown with Manchester United awaits.

We say: Eastleigh 0-1 Newport County

Unwanted defensive changes would not have been on either manager's agenda this week, but with the motivation of hosting the Red Devils in the fourth round, neither teams need an additional incentive to extinguish their opponents' cup dreams.

Newport's rosier streak of form cannot be overlooked, though, and with the visitors well-versed in coming up trumps in replays, we can only envisage a slender triumph for the Exiles as Eastleigh rue what could have been.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Birmingham vs. Hull City (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Battling for the honour of facing Championship leaders Leicester City in the fourth round, Birmingham City will welcome Hull City to St Andrew's for an FA Cup third-round replay on Tuesday night.

Blues needed a last-gasp strike to force a share of the spoils against Swansea City last time out, while the Tigers' poor form continued as they lost at home to Norwich City.

We say: Birmingham City 1-2 Hull City

Birmingham were up for the fight during Mowbray's first match but looked defensively weak at points, something Hull's Carvalho could take advantage of.

The Tigers are dominating football matches but are not finding the results in recent games, but they should be good enough for the win here unless they rotate their side heavily.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Bolton vs. Luton (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Having played out a goalless draw in their initial meeting on January 7, Bolton Wanderers and Luton Town will lock horns once again on Tuesday evening, with a spot in the fourth round of the FA Cup up for grabs.

Neither side could register in their clash at Kenilworth Road, meaning that a replay is required to determine which of the two teams marches into round four, where either Crystal Palace or Everton will be waiting.

We say: Bolton Wanderers 1-2 Luton Town

Bolton showed that they can match Luton when the two teams locked horns earlier this month, and we are expecting another close game here. Bolton have enough quality to triumph, but we just have a feeling that Luton will be able to navigate their way into the fourth round of the competition.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Bristol City vs. West Ham (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Having denied his erstwhile employers safe passage into the fourth round of the FA Cup, Bristol City manager Liam Manning seeks an even bigger scalp against the Irons in Tuesday's third-round replay with West Ham United at Ashton Gate.

The Robins came from behind to hold the Europa Conference League winners to a 1-1 draw in their initial encounter, and a home tie with either Nottingham Forest or Blackpool awaits the midweek victors.

We say: Bristol City 0-1 West Ham United

While calls from Hammers supporters for their side to strengthen their attacking ranks fall on deaf ears, the travelling supporters ought not to expect a scintillating offensive display from their side if both Paqueta and Bowen miss out as feared.

However, Bristol City have produced several toothless attacking performances of their own in recent weeks, and despite their valiant effort in the capital, the Robins may fall victim to a West Ham defensive masterclass at Ashton Gate.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.
