West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic says that young Valencia striker Toni Martinez is "quite close" to agreeing a move to the East Londoners.

Slaven Bilic has confirmed that West Ham United are on the verge of signing Toni Martinez.

The 18-year-old striker is widely regarded to be a hot prospect in Spain, having scored over 100 goals for Valencia's youth teams.

He was recently linked with a £750,000 switch to the Hammers and Bilic has now ratified the speculation.

"We are quite close to capturing Toni Martinez. All other rumours in the paper are just speculation," he told reporters.

It is believed that Valencia have negotiated a 20% sell-on clause and a first-refusal option in the deal.
