A report claims that Ahmed Hegazi is attracting interest from Premier League duo West Ham United and Leicester City following West Bromwich Albion's relegation.

West Bromwich Albion defender Ahmed Hegazi could reportedly be offered a Premier League lifeline by West Ham United and Leicester City.

The Egypt international was part of the West Brom side that dropped down to the second tier this season, starting all 38 league games.

Hegazi only joined the Baggies on a permanent basis in December and is under contract until 2022, but The Sun suggests that his displays have caught the eye of a couple of top-flight clubs, who are tempted to make a bid.

West Ham have lost centre-backs James Collins and Jose Fonte over the past few months, while Leicester recently offloaded Robert Huth.

Albion are said to be determined to keep hold of Hegazi, however, as Jonny Evans is almost certain to move on, while Craig Dawson and out-of-contract Gareth McAuley may also find new clubs.
