Swansea City manager Carlos Carvalhal claims that Saturday's 4-1 win over West Ham United was his side's "best performance" since he took charge in December.

Carlos Carvalhal has joked that West Ham United were "made to dance to our music" during Swansea City's comfortable 4-1 win on Saturday afternoon.

The Swans cruised to victory against their fellow strugglers at the Liberty Stadium, scoring twice in the first half and adding a couple more in the second.

Swansea have now taken 17 points from a possible 27 since Carvalhal took charge in December, and the Portuguese believes that his side's latest triumph was their best yet in that short period of time.

"What music depends on the opponent - if you are playing Man City or Man United they will put the music on and we must listen to the music that they put on," he told reporters at his post-match press conference. "There are games where you must listen to the music of the opponent.

"Sometimes we must listen to our music, sometimes the music of our opponents, this is life. We made West Ham dance to our music and it was rock and roll this afternoon in the Liberty.

"It was difficult for West Ham to follow us. I am giving all the credit to my players. This was the best performance since I took charge."

Swansea have scored 14 goals in nine league matches under Carvalhal, having scored just 11 in their previous 20 this season before his appointment.
