Ligue 1 side Marseille are eyeing a summer move for struggling Tottenham Hotspur forward Vincent Janssen, according to a report in the press.

Marseille are reportedly interested in a move for struggling Tottenham Hotspur striker Vincent Janssen.

Janssen endured a tough opening season at White Hart Lane in which the 23-year-old scored just two Premier League goals, following a £17m move from AZ Alkmaar.

According to The Mirror, Ligue 1 side Marseille are willing to provide an escape route for the Dutch forward, who is thought to be one of a few select players that Spurs are willing to sell this summer.

The same report also suggests that Lazio are keen to make a loan move for Janssen, although Tottenham are said to only be interested in a permanent deal for the striker.

Spurs start their new Premier League campaign when they visit Newcastle United on Sunday afternoon.
