Harry Kane becomes the first Englishman since Kevin Phillips in 2000 to win the Premier League's Golden Boot award.

Harry Kane has become the first Englishman to scoop the Premier League's Golden Boot award for 16 years.

Not since Kevin Phillips, then of Sunderland, has a player from these shores finished top of the scoring charts.

However, the Tottenham Hotspur frontman's haul of 25 was enough to see him end the drought, with Sergio Aguero and Jamie Vardy joint second on 24.

Everton centre-forward Romelu Lukaku finished in third position with 18 goals to his name.
